Excavator Transport Preparation Guide

Accurate information makes equipment transport easier to plan. Before requesting service, identify the machine make/model and verify its transport dimensions and weight.
Measurements and attachments
Record overall transport length, width and height. Note buckets, thumbs, breakers, blades or other attachments and whether any will travel separately.
Pickup and delivery access
Describe access at both locations, including gates, surface conditions and space available for a transport vehicle. Tell us whether the excavator starts, runs and can load under its own power.
Oversize considerations
Machines exceeding ordinary legal dimensions can involve permits, route restrictions or specialized equipment. Exact requirements vary by load and route.
